The BC Soccer Premier League will be returning to Kamloops for the 2020 BCSPL University Showcase over the May 22-24 weekend, hosted by Thompson Okanagan FC.

This will be the fifth year that the BCSPL has put an emphasis on bringing its players together in a central location for the ease of scouting by university coaches from across Canada and the western United States. Coaches have come from the furthest reaches of eastern Canada, to go along with a large contingent of coaches from BC and Alberta university programs.

For 2020, early projections will see 44 boys and girls teams including 32 from the BCSPL, and many tier 1 club teams from Alberta. This event in 2020 is for 2003 and 2004 born teams.

In 2019, 28 university soccer programs attend for their scouting and recruiting purposes.
