The BC Soccer Premier League clubs take great pride in developing players for, and showcasing players to, the next level of play. For the large majority of BCSPL players, this means the next step in their soccer pathway is playing at the University level.

Due to covid-19, we had to cancel an important component of the BCSPL season for grade 10-11 players, the BCSPL University Showcase in May. This means the opportunity to be seen again by University coaches, and to interact with them in person, has been lost in the spring phase of 2020. To ensure that we can still connect BCSPL players with the next level of play, we hosted two webinars with some amazing U SPORTS University coaches from schools across the country who have attended recent BCSPL University Showcase weekends. The content was focused on the full recruiting process for a player wishing to attend and play soccer at a U SPORTS school.
